Melanie(Original Poetry)

Just a regular day, waiting for it to pass by
Until a girl came my way & I played the shy guy
& when I laid my eyes on this girl
She made my mind twirl
She looked more glamorous than a diamond on a ring
My eyes kept starin' as she was rockin' that thing
I was feelin for her; it was love at first sight
My heart is peelin' for her; are these feelings even right
I keep my mind straight, hopin' to see her again
But that's in the future, & I can't wait until then
'Cause her beauty is so magical, is this a fairytale
Reality or not, she is the dreamiest female
& as we sat there, talking on a bench
I took a big whif, it was a familiar stench
Sneaking up behind us, it was cupid
For so many years, I called this man stupid
But for some reason, at this awkward but special moment
I allowed cupid to have his atonement
& as I felt the pierce of cupid's love arrow
The space between us became narrow
As she was talking, telling me how her day went
I was listening closely, she was heaven sent
Detailed out, she is absolutely amazing
The eternal flame inside of me, I felt it blazing
Looking into her eyes, I'm stuck, just dazing
No, dazed by her beauty, I keep gazing
Into her inner beauty & outer, forever and a day
If I could step up, nothing could stand in my way
With her words & beauty, she took me to another world
I wanted her to be mine, my only girl
But I was helpless, she got me astonished
The way I am, needs to be abolished
Thinking about my feelings, is it right or wrong
But I want these feelings, I'm gonna stay strong
Cause I can't help it, I'm attracted to her
I'll be honest, I'm distracted by her
'Cause you're alwayson my mind
You can really say she's one of a kind
But as she got up, to walk away
I had nothing more to say
Because at that moment, I lost my game
So I could only ask for her name
& she gave it to me, so I keep it confined
I have that feeling you and I will be entwined
So you can tell this is all contemporary
So all I have is her name, it's just a memory
But there's this feeling, that loving her is a felony
But her name repeats in me, it goes "Melanie, Melanie, Melanie"
