On Senior Ball, one of highschool's special events
First and foremost, I apologize if I begin to bore ya

And as you can tell, I am oh so nervous and it's hard for me to speak
I'm getting a bit shaky and my body is getting weak

But anyways back to the subject, there's something I wanna tell you

If you say yes, I have a feeling that night will be great
And if you say no, I could fall in a rejection abyss
But I assure you girl prom will be night you can reminisce

I will be suave and generous, just like a gentleman
There's no need for emotions, we can have our feelings settle in
And you don't need to look good with make-up like Mac or Foundation

Or even took a few minutes to go have a nice brisk walk
