Valentines Day - Edward Daos


Stories are told and secrets are confined
Love is inconspicuous and fate is blind
Words are mistakened and feelings are undefined
All because I met the most wonderful creation in all of mankind

Reminiscing, about that what I did on that fateful day
I know this sounds kinda stupid, and maybe a little cliche
But see, most of my memories only contain your face
And now you got my heart racing, steadily pacing, going after a chase

My memory is blurry, it's hard to remember things
But I remember your smile cause its brighter than diamond rings
See, I was Love Drunk, but only off of you
And I'm gonna tell you right now, everything I'm saying is true

Reconciling my feelings cause everything is a blur
I honestly don't know if I can say another word to her
Zang tho, I'm confused on what to do and my game is at lost
And she got her own thing, miss independent, she is a boss

But anyways, I just wanna take you away, take you away
And make you mine, even for a day
A day away from the bullshit and the nonsense you go through
I honestly wish I had the balls to spit these feelings in front of you

But now we are talking here and there, and everywhere
You said your heart is damaged, and that's something I can and will repair
Trust me love, if you just stick with me, you heart will never go into despair
And to me, nobody will ever compare

And I ain't even tryna flirt or even cupcake with you
But my heart will fast break with you
And ya more beautiful than the girls in the world today
I will make moves, I'll take it fast or slow, is that ok?

And Valentine's day is coming up soon
And we can stay up late staring at the stars and the moon
Holding each other close while lying next to each other
And if all goes well, I ain't ever gonna fall for another

Feelings shooting around, and I'm doing things I never do
And I'm trying to find a quick way or a slick way to make you my boo
But the choice is yours if you want me now, later, or maybe in the friend zone
But just remember, on Feb. 14, I ain't gonna try to leave you alone

You're just one of a kind, and I'm tryna give you more than love signs
And we can fall into each others arms, on Valentine's Day
I can make you smile and blush with more than just a Rose Bouquet
So will you be mine, on Valentines?(:
